health care workerWhen members are confused by medical terms or having trouble understanding their doctor's explanations, the Vantage Program can help. Nurses, counselors, and dieticians are available by phone to address members' medical, pharmaceutical, and nutritional concerns, providing expert answers and explaining terms and concepts clearly and simply.

conciergeFor example, suppose a doctor has recommended a surgical procedure and the member is not sure he or she fully understand the benefits and risks. The Vantage Concierge will help the member get the facts and better understand their medical options. They'll work with the member, too, on decision-making strategies and help the member make informed decisions about medical care.
